The website displays information from the Australia New Zealand Clinical Trials Registry (ANZCTR, www.anzctr.org.au) and ClinicalTrials.gov (clinicaltrials.gov). These two registries register the majority of cancer clinical trials recruiting patients in Australia.

Australian Cancer Trials includes:

• ‘Open’ clinical trials. Open means the trial is currently recruiting participants.      
• ‘Closed’ clinical trials. This means the trial is not recruiting participants. These are included for information only. 
• ‘Not yet recruiting’ clinical trials. This means the trial has not started recruiting or enrolling participants.

As trials become ‘open’ for recruitment they are featured on Australian Cancer Trials as soon as possible.
